Dar Es Salaam MEGA Finals Debate and Public Speaking Championship.

History has been made in Dar es salaam Tanzania at Dar es salaam University Collage of Education (DUCE) Chang'ombe on 29th April, 2017 for the first very time the very true regional competition brought together 16 schools winners from district level where the districts' competition took place. This time around only three winners in both debate and public speaking got bronze, silver and gold medals to keep the memory of their effort in front of so many best speakers and debaters showed up.

In debate gold medal winner were Frays Louis Amigo School from Kigamboni district, silver medal winners were Mtakuja Beach Secondary school and bronze medal winners were Mbezi High School. Public speaking competition was so high to make the top five being Lauryn Grayson from Temeke district, Sebastian Daniel from Kigamboni district, Khairat Nassor From Kinondoni District, Cynthia Aman from Kigamboni district and Glory Isaya from Ubungo District. Judges crowned Glory Isaya the best public speakers followed by Cynthia Amani and Khairat Nassor respectively.

Much appreciations to guests showed up in the finals under the honor of RICHARD MABALA the writer of Mabala the Farmer. Number of celebrities including Brenda Allan, Imani Nsamila, M.C Luvanda and Fredrick Mabula. Media personalities including Stanslaus well known as Mkutubi from Times Fm (100.5) Shedrack Steven from T.V 1. Representative from Vipaji Foundation Clara Mduma, Representative from Ladies Joint Rehema Yussuf and representative from Seeds Tourism Tanzania.

Our ideal is to create patriotic leaders with great critical thinking ability. We are determined and we believe in competition not against our opponents but to be the best of ourselves compare to where we started. May be students makes only 12% of our population but they are the 100% of our future. We have to prepare them for that huge responsibility.
