Skills Avenue Youth Initiative
(SAYI) has committed to contribute on the improvement of education context in
Tanzania by introducing the debate and public speaking competition as part and
parcel of secondary students’ education life. The historical journey has
planned to mark it’s take off on 1st December 2016 at Canossa
secondary school. History is going to be made and the dream going to open its
first eye to realization because this is SAYI believe: Building oral
presentation intelligence among secondary students, enhancing critical
thinking, self-awareness, expression and development. All this for the one
great target of standing firm over our country Tanzania. The spirit of
patriotism where youth will be proud of our nation and keep on suqqesting
solution of different challenges instead of blaming one part. Where every youth
will be responsible to contribute their talent, knowledge, power ana revenues
for the battlement of the country. This debate and public speaking competition
aim at building confidence of studens especially in communication especially in
English language. MAY THE BEST DEBATER AND PUBLIC SPEAKER WIN!!!
The debate motion going to be “This house believe that students to spend their terminal and annual school leave for volunteering in areas of their interest should be compulsory”
And the public speaking will center on practical experience for students through volunteering
